The lovely Country Estates Collection High Chest is constructed from birch and cherry wood. Additional pieces include the low-profile sleigh bed and a nightstand. All are hand rubbed to a high gloss in a cherry stain color. The pieces all have tapered and turned post feet. The sleigh bed has the traditional sleigh type headboard, but the rest is made in the low-profile style. Case pieces like the nightstand and high chest have hooded hardware and dovetail joints. The moldings on the pieces are inspired by the Louis Philippe styling of furniture. The Country Estate Collection High Chest is contemporary while feeling like an heirloom.
